Flood water entered Bettiah due to rain in Nepal: Villagers’ troubles increased in Telpur village, people migrating to higher places

The water level of the Gandak river has increased due to incessant rains in the lowlands of Nepal. At the same time, there has been a flood-like situation in the low-lying areas of West Champaran district. So there the flood water has entered in many villages. Some villagers have also started migrating from the village. Here, due to the continuous increase in the water level in the Masan river, flood water has entered dozens of houses in West Tola Ward No. 7 of Telpur village of Lauria block of Bettiah. The concern of the people of Tellpur village has increased due to the entry.

Dozens of people including villagers Naeem Mian, Ekbal Khan, Mohammad Sajad, Mohammad Lalbabu, Islam Mian told that as soon as they woke up on Friday morning, they saw that the water of Masan river had been taken in their houses. Due to which children and the elderly are facing a lot of problems. At the same time, cattle have also been kept in high places. The water level of Masan river is rising very fast since morning.

Some people of the same village are busy migrating from the village to higher places. Although the district administration is in allot mode. The administration is engaged in providing all possible help to the villagers. Here, due to continuous rains in the district, the increase of water is also increasing. Although the wild river is also in spate.
