A sudden fire broke out in a moving car in Katihar. Soon the fire spread in the entire car and was burnt to ashes. The car driver somehow saved his life by jumping. The incident is near Simaria Chowk of Kodha police station area. The fire department was called by the villagers after seeing the incident of fire in the car. The fire department arrived with a small fire engine.
But there was no water in that car. Later a large fire brigade was persuaded and the fire was brought under control. It is being told about the incident that Arvind Kumar, assistant manager of State Bank of Kadhagola, was coming to his residence in Katihar after finishing his work late in the evening. That’s when the accident happened.
The car owner Arvind Kumar told about the incident that he was going towards his house after driving the car. The car caught fire due to a sudden short circuit. Soon the fire took a formidable form all around the car. Seeing the fire, the car owner got very nervous and somehow jumped out of the car and saved his life. Seeing the fire in the car on the middle road, villagers reached there in large numbers and informed the local police. The fire department was informed about the fire by some villagers. The officials and personnel of the fire department arrived with a big fire engine. After much effort, the fire was brought under control.
