Fire in Buxar Power House: Accident due to short circuit in transformer, fire brigade vehicles on the spot

A sudden fire broke out in the power house of Buxar city late on Wednesday evening. The workers who arrived in a hurry tried to extinguish the fire from their level first. But the fire has slowly caught on. The fire brigade along with the police arrived with fire engines and is engaged in controlling the fire.

At the same time, due to the strong flames of the fire, an atmosphere of panic has been created among the people. They are afraid. The employees were working in the power house on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, suddenly a spark came out of a transformer. But the employees did not take him seriously. After this, the spark caught on the surrounding rudders and gradually turned into flames. At the same time, seeing the flames, the workers reached the spot. The cause of fire is short circuit in the transformer.

If there was a fire in the transformer due to a fire in the power house, it would not have been possible to control them.

Here the employees noticed that the fire has started engulfing the areas around the power house. After this, with the help of local people wanted to control the fire. But, the flames were so strong that people could not get close. Giving information in this context, the company’s assistant engineer Shiv Kumar said that the fire took a severe form near the boundary of the godown. Fortunately, the fire did not come inside the boundary, otherwise there could have been a major accident.

He said that around 400 transformers are kept inside the boundary. In such a situation, if there was a fire in the transformers, it would not have been possible to control them and due to their burning, the power supply in the district would have come to a standstill for six months.
