Farmer’s death due to lightning in Nalanda: He was hiding under a tree to avoid rain, lightning suddenly fell

In Nalanda, a middle-aged farmer died late on Tuesday evening after being hit by a thunderstorm. The deceased has been identified as Manoj Yadav, (47) year old son of Late Kapil Yadav, resident of Vishnupur village of Manpur police station area.

In the context of the incident, the family told that Manoj Yadav had gone towards the fields to see the crop. Then it started raining, to avoid the rain, he went to hide under the wire tree. In the meantime, a thunderstorm fell on the tree itself. Due to which Manoj Yadav died due to burns. The incident came to light when the eyes of the passers-by passing by fell on Manoj Yadav lying in the field in an unconscious state.

As soon as the family members got the news of the death, there was uproar among the family members. The atmosphere became gloomy due to the mourning of the family members.

Late in the evening, the police took the body in possession and brought it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The SHO said that by registering a UD case, the police has started taking further action. Amount will be provided to the dependents of the deceased under the disaster.
