Emperor Chaudhary sitting on Mahadharna in Rohtas: Demand to get the inscription of Emperor Ashoka free from illegal occupation, also threatens the administration

Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council Samrat Chaudhary reached Sasaram on Saturday. He participated in the Mahadharna organized against the capture of the inscription of Emperor Ashoka located on the Chandan hill of Sasaram and the construction of the tomb. In the three-hour-long dharna in the premises of Ojha Town Hall located in front of the Collectorate, he said that by peaceful demonstration, Emperor Ashoka’s inscription will be freed, there is no rule of law in Bihar, the government is following the policy of appeasement.

Leader of Opposition said that we are proud that out of the 8 small inscriptions in the country, one is in Sasaram. How many days will have to be fought over illegal occupation there, how long will intellectuals, journalists fight. This has to be told to the government. The district administration will have to do the work of removing illegal encroachments. Said that we do not want any conflict, we will free the inscription of Emperor Ashoka from illegal occupation only by peaceful demonstration.

If the district administration does not free the inscription from illegal occupation, we will hold the next dharna on Chandan hill. The only demand of BJP is to free it from illegal occupation. We are not going to bow down from anywhere, we have come to cooperate. We want to tell the DM that if you want that there should be peace and harmony in Sasaram, then do the work of getting the inscription free from illegal occupation, otherwise you will have to answer.

No rule of law in Bihar for 32 years

Leader of Opposition said that we have been raising this issue in the past as well. But then CM Nitish Kumar used to say that the law will take its own course. But in 32 years, under Lalu-Nitish’s rule, we are searching for the law, but the law is not being found. Only appeasement work is being done here, whenever there is talk on a particular sect, Nitish’s hand starts trembling. Said that hey brother, rule with justice.

Nitish Kumar dummy CM Said that now Nitish Kumar is dummy CM, rubber stamp. The rubber stamp will have to be stamped. If you don’t, your nephew will throw you up. There is no good governance in Bihar, there is no rule of law. The Deputy Chief Minister here gives a statement that we will cool down. But don’t know if the public will cool them in 2024 and in 2025.

Memorandum submitted to DM
After the Mahadharna, the Leader of the Opposition reached the Collectorate and submitted a memorandum to the DM to get the inscription of Emperor Ashoka free from illegal possession. After that he left for Patna.
