The accused have told that they used to steal bikes from Bhagalpur and sell them to bike thieves gang of other districts for two to five thousand rupees.
At the same time, members of the bike thieves gang of other districts also used to sell the bikes of Bhagalpur at the same price after the bike theft. That is, Cherry’s bikes were sold interchangeably with each other, so that the local police could be avoided. In such a situation, the chances of getting caught for riding a stolen bike in other districts were less. If a new customer was found, who needed the bike immediately, it used to be fixed even in 10 to 15 thousand rupees.

While Zeromile police has arrested a bike thief and Tilkamanjhi police arrested an accused with a stolen bike. He told that on Thursday, the police of Tilkamanjhi police station stopped a bike rider on the basis of suspicion and investigated, then the bike turned out to be stolen. On his behest, the police met a minor resident of Bansikar in Sabour. Apart from this, Rupesh Kumar and Rahul Kumar have been arrested in Maniarpur under Madhusudanpur police station area.
