Campaign being run by Food Safety and Drug Administration Department
Deoria. For the prevention of food adulteration, a campaign is being run by the Department of Food Safety and Drug Administration. Under this, the team took three samples of spices from different places on Friday. It has been sent to the laboratory for examination.
On the instructions of Food Safety and Drug Administration Commissioner Lucknow and District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department has launched a campaign to curb adulteration in the district. Under this, Food Safety Officer Ranjan Kumar Srivastava reached Mohan Road in the city, where he collected a sample of Khada Masala from Shyam Bihari & Sons. While Food Safety Officer Manish Malla took a sample of coriander powder from a shop located on Arjun Road. On the other hand, Food Safety Officer Subhish Kumar took a sample of asafoetida from Rajesh Prasad Gupta’s shop located at Galla Mandi New Bazar.
Three samples of spices were taken from different places of the city. Which has been sent to the laboratory for examination. Action will be taken against the concerned if the adulteration is confirmed after the investigation report.
