Dengue sting in Bhagalpur: From today, the municipal team will reach all the wards of the city to kill the larvae, 13 new patients found in a day

Dengue has started spreading rapidly in the city. The situation became such that on Thursday, 13 new patients were found in a single day. 39 people got tested for the possibility of dengue, in which the report of 13 came positive. 10 people are residents of Bhagalpur and 3 people from Banka. A total of 22 dengue patients have been found since October 11. This is the government figure, many people are getting their treatment in private hospitals also.

Its data is not with the health department. The department has made five-bed dengue ward in Mayaganj, Sadar Hospital and all PHCs. There is also a system for dengue testing at these places. In view of the increasing outbreak of dengue, the Municipal Corporation has prepared a raster for fogging in all the 51 wards of the city. Started on Thursday to kill larvae by buying 51 new machines. On the first day this work was done in 20 wards.

From Friday, the work of killing larvae will be done in every ward. The agency of Patna has been sent to fix the big fogging machine. The machine will be fine in three days. Broken small machines are also being repaired.

Dengue happened in Satchidanand Nagar

In the investigation conducted in Sadar Hospital, two dengue patients were found. These include youth (40) and girl (22) of Satchidanand Nagar. At present, 14 patients are being treated in the Dengue ward of Mayaganj Hospital. Of these, 9 are patients from Bhagalpur, 5 from Banka and Jharkhand. Superintendent Dr. Asim Kumar Das told that there is adequate arrangement for the treatment of the patients.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Umesh Sharma said that there is a system of dengue test in all the blocks and urban PHCs of the district. Municipal Commissioner Yogesh Sagar has said that the people will be made aware through the public announcement system installed at the check-cross.

Kharmanchak, Tilkamanjhi Hatia Road, Adampur, DIG Housing Road, Ishaqchak, Budhanath, Hasanabad, Vikramshila Colony, Satchidanand Nagar, Majahidpur, Habibpur, Mayaganj and Jeeramail.
