    Dengue havoc in Bihar, Patna’s condition worsens: Central team reached to take stock, 502 cases were found in 24 hours; 261 in Patna

    Dengue outbreak is increasing in Bihar. The condition of the capital Patna is the worst, where the number of dengue victims broke all previous records. On Friday, 502 patients have been found in the dengue test in Patna hospitals. Of these, 261 are from Patna. With this, the number of dengue patients in Patna has increased to 4390. The central team inspected the hospitals of Patna and held a meeting with the officers.

    There are 13 patients admitted in PMCH of Patna, 77 in NMCH, 44 in Patna AIIMS and 35 in IGIMS. Azimabad is still the most affected area of ​​dengue. On Friday, 58 patients have been found in Azimabad, 55 in Wankipur, 14 in Kankarbagh, 9 in Patna City, 20 in Patliputra, 13 in Nutan Rajdhani Zone.

    Central team took stock of PMCH and NMCH

    On Saturday, DM Patna held a meeting with the central team regarding the dreadful situation of dengue. The team first visited the hospitals, then brainstormed with the DM regarding control.

    On the other hand, on Friday, the central team took stock of PMCH and NMCH. Visited Dengue Ward, Lab and Blood Bank located at Tata Ward of PMCH. A dengue ward of 125 beds has been made here.

    The team interacted with the admitted patients and their families. The hospital administration claimed that the team looked satisfied after the inspection. The team also took stock of the dengue ward built in the MCH building of NMCH and questioned the patients and their families.

    The number of dengue victims in Patna broke the previous record.

    Due to increase in patients, beds started falling in hospitals

    There is a shortage of beds in dengue wards in many government hospitals in the state. A 4-member central team also visited some areas of Rajgir and Bihar Sharif to take stock of the dengue situation where a large number of dengue cases have been reported.
