New Delhi:-Manish Sisodia has tweeted about the CBI inquiry, in which he has written that 14 hours CBI raid was conducted at my house, nothing came out of it. Now the CBI Headquarters has been called for questioning.
The CBI on Monday summoned Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for questioning in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy in the national capital.
A summon has been sent to Sisodia in this regard.
According to CBI officials, Sisodia has been asked to appear at the probe agency’s headquarters at 11 am on Monday. At the same time, Manish Sisodia has also tweeted about the CBI’s inquiry. He has written that 14 hours CBI raid was conducted at my house, nothing came out. Searched my bank locker, nothing came out in it. They did not find anything in my village, now they have called me tomorrow at 11 o’clock in the CBI Headquarters. He said that I will go and give full cooperation. Satyameva Jayate.
On the other hand, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has retweeted Sisodia’s tweet and wrote that the jail bars and hanging noose could not deter Bhagat Singh’s lofty intentions, this is the second fight for freedom. Manish and Satyendra are today’s Bhagat Singh. Also said, after 75 years, the country got an education minister, who gave good education to the poor and gave hope for a bright future. Kejriwal further wrote, the prayers of crores of poor are with you.
The CBI has questioned several people, including the owner of Indo Spirits Sameer Mahendru, Amit Arora, director of Buddy Retail Pvt Ltd in Gurugram and Mutha Gautam, managing director of India Ahead News, in this case.
