Decoration of Chhath Ghats in Patna in final phase: Dressing rooms, CCTV cameras installed at urban and rural Chhath Ghats, health camps also arranged

The decoration of the urban and rural ghats of Patna is being finalized on the occasion of Chhath festival. Apart from separate dressing rooms, CCTV cameras, watch towers, health camps, arrangements for all the facilities are being finalized for the women performing the festival with colorful lights around the pond.

The years old Phulwari Sharif’s Shiva temple is decorated with colorful and flood lights all around the Ghat pond. Keeping in mind the facilities of the women performing Chhath festival, complete cleanliness has been done all around. Dressing room has been built after the puja so that the women who perform the festival do not face any kind of problem.

Manoj Kumar, executive officer of the city council, said that about a dozen dressing rooms have been built around the pond. Apart from this, watch towers and CCTV cameras have been arranged to keep an eye on all the activities. The colorful and attractive paintings around the pond by schoolgirls have added to the beauty of the pond.

A grand pandal and barricading have been arranged by the Bihar National Cricket Club along with the installation of a sun statue around the ghat. Members of the club said that keeping in mind the convenience of the women observing fast on the occasion of Chhath festival, free arrangements have been made for the worship material. In this, free arrangements have been made for the worship of mangoes, humad, incense sticks and milk for worship.

It is being told that people from outside including Birla Colony, Adarsh ​​Nagar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Challana Kuan, Pethia Bazar, Chauraha, New Tola, Mitra Mandal Colony, Ekta Nagar, Ranipur, Bajrangbali Colony are also celebrating Chhath festival this year.
