Deadly attack on doctor in Samastipur: Criminals injured with rod, admitted to Sadar Hospital

In Tedha village of Khanpur police station area of ​​Samastipur district, a young man, who had gone to rescue a quarrel between two people on Sunday night, was injured by a rural doctor from the road. The youth has been identified as Mal Babu Rai of the village. With the help of the villagers, the youth has been admitted to the Sadar Hospital.

In relation to the incident, Rinki Devi, the wife of the injured youth, told that some people of the village were quarreling with the village doctor Santosh Kumar at night. In the meantime, when her husband Mal Babu Rai went to the rescue, the village doctor Santosh Kumar along with his others attacked Mal Babu with a rod. Due to which he got seriously injured. Due to the noise, the people of the gathered village intervened and took Mal Babu to Sadar Hospital.

On the other hand, on the information of the incident, the city police has recorded the statement of the youth. In which besides village village doctor Santosh Kumar, four other people have also been accused. Station President Chandrakant Gauri said that the statement of the youth is being sent to the concerned police station, in this case further action will be taken by Khanpur police station.
