Melbourne: Australia’s star opener David Warner may retire next year. Which he himself has indicated. He can retire after the Ashes Test series to be held in England next year. However, he can continue to play in limited overs.
Hinting at his retirement from Test cricket, David Warner said, ‘Probably the first thing I will withdraw from Test cricket is the ODI World Cup next year and then the T20 World Cup in 2024. So this could be my last 1 year in Test cricket. However, I really like white ball cricket. Warner further says, ‘I love the game of T20 cricket. I want to play till the end of 2024’.
