In view of the danger of dengue in the city and the adjoining area, the administration has given the responsibility of the corporation for spraying anti-larva. Fogging and anti-larva spraying is being done by the Municipal Corporation in the city.
However, after two days, spraying of anti-larva will be done in all 49 wards of the city by making raster. The city manager was also in the grip of dengue. Corporation official says, spraying has not been done in many wards.
Where there is a problem of water logging, spraying of anti-larva will be done on priority basis. The Municipal Corporation has no shortage of claims. There is also a spray machine. The raster is being prepared for anti-larva spraying. Here, amidst the panic spread among the people due to the increasing number of dengue patients across the state, the District Health Department said that there is not a single active dengue patient in the district.
District Malaria Officer Dr. Satish Singh said, so far 18 people were suffering from dengue in the district, they have been cured. He said, anti-larva spray has been done at 12 places, while spraying will be done at 6 places till Monday. In Sahabajpur, Minapur and Jhapahan, there will be spraying on Saturday and in Metipur and Kanti on Monday. There is no need to be afraid of dengue, he said.
Here, alert about the increasing outbreak of brain malaria
The superintendent of SKMCH has alerted the doctors about the increasing outbreak of brain malaria. On Friday, Superintendent Dr. Babu Saheb Jha held a meeting with the doctors of the Department of Medicine and Pediatrics. In this, information related to the treatment of patients was obtained. He directed that all the arrangements related to the treatment of patients who reached SKMCH would be done in the ward.
Get the stock of medicine under your supervision from the ward incharge. Treatment-related negligence will not be tolerated. The superintendent said that the drains and dirt around the hospital are being cleaned. There are dustbins in all the wards. Fogging was done outside the hospital late in the evening.
Dr. Gopal Shankar Sahni, deputy superintendent of pediatrics department, said that the doctors of pediatrics department have been alerted. If children suffering from high fever come, then as soon as possible pathology examination is to be done and treatment should be started according to the symptoms. He told that these days half a dozen patients of brain malaria are coming every day.
Dengue patient admitted
SKMCH superintendent Dr. BS Jha told that the outbreak of malaria and dengue is increasing. Dengue ICU has been opened regarding this. At present, ten suspected patients are admitted. Dengue has been confirmed in a patient already admitted in Ward 4. He has been asked to be transferred to the dengue ward. Cleaning and fogging is being done all around the hospital.
