Cylinder laden truck caught fire in Bhagalpur: 100 cylinders blasted, people heard the echo of explosions for an hour

A fire broke out in a truck carrying a LPG cylinder vehicle on Narayanpur NH 31 late night under Bhawanipur police station area of ​​Bhagalpur police district Navagachia. The flames reached the cylinder. Due to this the cylinder also caught fire and blast started happening one after the other.

It is being told that more than 100 cylinder blasts have taken place. This was informed to the local police station. The local police station and Pasraha police station reached the spot. Fire fighting vehicles also reached from Navagachia subdivision. The fire was brought under control after the blast was over. There was no loss of life in the incident. The truck was going towards Khagaria from Bhagalpur. Then suddenly the truck caught fire. For about 1 hour, there was an explosion one after the other. The local people also reached there due to the sound of the explosion.

Police arrived as soon as the information was received

The local people informed the police. On information Bhawanipur police team reached the spot with the force. Fire department vehicles also reached. The fire was brought under control after the blast was over. It is being told that there is also a petrol pump about 200 meters from the spot. A cylinder also fell on the roof of the pump. But there was no casualty on the pump. The petrol pump and all the personnel working at the pump are safe.

Eyewitness Fatuli Yadav of Balha told that he rears cattle for a long time by making a basa on the banks of NH. When the explosion started, he hid in the hut. But when his hut caught fire, he ran away and saved his life. He is less visible at night. Everything kept in the hut got burnt. On getting the information about the incident, many people from nearby also reached the spot. Fatuli Yadav told that people were shouting after the fire broke out. He saw a man running away from a fire truck. The explosion was so strong that even the windows of the houses in the vicinity were shaking. People were not even coming out of the house out of fear. NHAI’s ambulance vehicle also reached the spot. The damaged vehicle, debris was removed from NH 31 by crane after the fire was over. The administration is engaged in restoring traffic.
