The car overturned after hitting the auto at the Ganjbazar intersection, crushing many people. In the accident, 30-year-old Sanjay and 75-year-old Devki Rai were killed while 12 people were injured. The police has arrested the driver. The driver is from Ghorasahan of East Champaran. In the breath analyzer test, it has been confirmed to contain alcohol.

After first aid, Ashok Prasad of Behbalbazar, Dilip Kumar and Devki Rai of Mahdeian were referred to SKMCH. Devaki Rai died during the treatment.
On the other hand, the injured Sanjay also died during the treatment. SHO Rajesh Kumar told that the driver of Magic carried out the incident due to being intoxicated. Magic and auto have been confiscated by arresting him.
