Another revelation has come to light in the case of DGP giving clean chit to corrupt IPS under the guise of cybercriminals. The fear of a cyber criminal calling in the name of the Chief Justice was so much that the DGP had called the Investigation Officer (IO) on a holiday from Chennai to Patna. There was such a rush to give a clean chit to the corrupt IPS that the matter was thrown out in just 48 hours.
This has been revealed in Bhaskar’s investigation. If sources related to Bihar Police are to be believed, the officer who gave clean chit to IPS Aditya Kumar in the liquor scandal is also on the radar of the investigation team. The association in Patna Police has demanded action to sack the DGP.
If sources in the police department are to be believed, when Abhishek Agarwal, becoming the Chief Justice, started calling the DGP continuously, he was completely scared. He started talking head-on. Abhishek created so much fear on the DGP that he kept on obeying everything. Sources say that Abhishek Aggarwal had given 48 hours to the DGP.
The DGP took this very seriously and gave a clean chit to the SSP within the stipulated time. According to the sources of the Police Headquarters, the IO of the SSP case, Subodh Kumar, was told by the DSP that if he does not come to Patna in 24 hours, then action will be taken.
Had to leave work from Chennai
Sources say that the IO was in Chennai, he had gone for some work for the education of his child. The work was not even completed and took leave for personal work, but the pressure was built up that had to come back to Patna by flight from Chennai. In this way, under the heavy pressure of the officers, a clean chit was given in the SSP’s case related to liquor. The entire process was completed within 48 hours, as given by the cybercriminal. A case was registered against IPS Aditya Kumar in Fatehpur police station of Gaya, which was being discussed by DSP Subodh Kumar of Prohibition.
Association’s demand to sack DGP
Patna Police Men’s Association president NK Dheeraj has demanded the dismissal of the DGP as mentally ill. He has demanded from CM Nitish Kumar that SK Singhal is a mentally ill officer, he has tarnished the reputation of Bihar Police by his petty antics during his tenure. This has also hurt the dignity of the state government. There should be no sensitivity towards them.
He said that on the other hand a thug person talks to them 56 times and pressurizes them to do an unauthorized work. It is surprising that a person holding an important post like the constitutional police chief falls under his guise and ends the matter of serious nature as a mistake of law.
On the other hand registering the FIR that I suspect both the things are contradictory in themselves. When there is doubt, then why take illegal decisions under the influence of that person, this proves that the matter is some big game. Work is being done only on the intention to destroy the department by hatching a conspiracy. The association has demanded the dismissal of DGP SK Singhal.
Question regarding investigation, demand for judicial inquiry
There has been a lot of play in the case against IPS Aditya. If its fair investigation is done, then the disclosure can be even bigger. Investigation is going on regarding the matter, Abhishek has also been taken on remand, but only retired officers of the police department are saying that there cannot be impartiality in such investigation. When the investigation of the IPS posted on the post of DGP is being done and investigation is being done by the department under it, then there is a big question.
Retired police officers along with the association say that the government should take a big decision in this matter. A system of judicial inquiry should be made. It should be decided why the DGP gave a clean chit. Is he accountable, how many other such work has been done by the DGP by calling such cyber thugs. The government should now be completely serious about this matter.
