Congress leader’s body exhumed in Darbhanga: Murder took place on December 7, now postmortem will be done again

The post-mortem of the dead body of Ziaur Rahman alias Babban, resident of Sobhan Shankarpur of Simri police station area, district president of Congress Minority Morcha of Darbhanga district, was conducted again on Friday. The body was taken out of the grave in the presence of the magistrate. This action has been taken after the order of the court. Three accused were arrested in this case. The accused had told the police about killing them with iron rods.

The police was doing research believing this to be true, but the incident took a new turn when the police took the accused named Feroze on remand. He told about the shooting with assault. On this basis, the post-mortem was done again. It may be known that District President of Congress Minority Cell, Ziaur Rahman alias Babban, resident of Sobhan of Simri police station area, was murdered on 7th December. In this case, the police arrested Mohammad Javed, son of the accused Mo. Nurul Hoda, Mo. from the village itself. Mo Chhote son of Musa and Mo Firoz son of Mo Majid were arrested. After the murder, Javed had reached the airport to flee to Mumbai, from where he was arrested. The body was recovered from a bansbari in the village itself.
