Complaint of the secretary of the Disneyland Fair
In Muzaffarpur, a complaint has been registered against three people, including the Bihar Congress President, on Monday. The complaint has been filed in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate by Pradeep Kumar, secretary of Disneyland Fair. He alleges that Congress leaders are demanding extortion of Rs 10 lakh from him for organizing the fair. Also assaulted and abused them.
A complaint has been filed against Bihar Pradesh Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Muzaffarpur Congress District President Arvind Kumar Mukul and his son Mohit. Pradeep Kumar, secretary of Disneyland Fair, has filed a complaint under several serious sections. Accepting this, the court has fixed the hearing for April 19, 2023.
Disneyland Fair Secretary Pradeep Kumar was to organize a fair from April 9 to June 15, 2023 at the District Congress Committee Tilak Maidan. On September 12, 2022, he had deposited one lakh 65 thousand rupees through a check in the fund of Sadakat Ashram, Patna, while being the then President of Bihar Pradesh Congress, Madan Mohan Jha. He was to organize Disneyland and Handloom Handicraft Fair in the Congress Office (Tilak Maidan) premises of Muzaffarpur.
On the other hand, on September 14, 2022, the then State President Madan Mohan Jha had given a written order to Pradeep Kumar and the District Congress President. In this, an order was issued to Pradeep Kumar to organize a Disneyland fair in the field located at Tilak Maidan, but it was not allowed by Muzaffarpur Congress President Arvind Kumar. Along with this, in the complaint, Pradeep has also accused of demanding Rs 10 lakh.
Congress leaders accused of demanding extortion of 10 lakhs
Pradeep is basically a resident of Darbhanga. Presently he lives in Khabra of Sadar police station area of Muzaffarpur. Pradeep Kumar, secretary of the Disneyland (Craft and Trade Career Step Association) fair, told that he had taken permission for 60 days in writing from the then state Congress president Madan Mohan Jha. On March 28, 2023, six trucks went there with the goods of the fair. He was thrashed by the current district president Arvind Kumar Mukul and his associates. Along with this, dirty abuses were also given. Pradeep says he was told that your order is from 9th April so come on that day.
The complainant said about assault and abusing
Pradeep further said that when he went to collect the keys from him on April 8, he was again assaulted and manhandled. The current state president of the Congress was also asked to bring a written order again. It was told that if you want to organize a fair, you will have to pay Rs 10 lakh. After this, on the evening of 8 April, he went to Patna and met the current Congress President Akhilesh Singh. Singh asked him to obey Arvind Kumar Mukul. He said that if you don’t give 10 lakhs, then forget your work. You will not be given any written order. It is only after this incident that he has now reached the court.

Advocate KK Mishra told that the complainant is Pradeep Mishra. He has filed a complaint against three people. Complaint has been lodged against the present State President of Congress Akhilesh Prasad Singh, District President of Congress Arvind Kumar Mukul and his son. A case of cheating and extortion has been registered against all of them. Complaint has been registered under section 323,341,384,406,409,420,506/34 IPC, which will be heard on 19th April.
