Complaint against senior IAS K Pathak: Protest against the hard training of officers in Bipard, Gaya, one has died

A delegation has met Bihar Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani to protest against the military-like training of deputy collectors. The representative group complained to the Chief Secretary of Bihar against the Director General of Bipard, KK Pathak. The delegation apprised the Chief Secretary about the officers falling ill due to the training being conducted in Gaya and demanded some changes in this training.

This complaint has been made against the training of deputy collector like military training. This training is being conducted at Bipard Gaya. This training includes field training tour and sessional training. While a deputy collector was killed during field training. In this training, Vivek Singh died on November 14 in Dekhradoon. Even after this, lessons were not learned from it. The tracking was done in Dehradun. Death happened during tracking during field training.

Deputy Collectors say that this step had to be taken when the water went above the head. Even in this cold, we are made to start PT from 5 am in the morning. Everything has to be done in the exercise game. Due to which 10 officers have become ill. All these officers are listed in the information. Due to the cold, the life of all the officers has been made. Officials say that our restoration has not happened for this work, so why this kind of training is being given. Physical training should be given according to the work for which we have been reinstated and not exploited. The physical has been made so tough that the officials are not able to complete it. This training should be done only to stay fit and not to make a player or athlete.

It was informed that positive assurance has been received from the Chief Secretary. After reinstatement as civil officers, we are now being given training as military officers. Officials told that if even now our demand is not met, then in the coming days we will meet the Chief Minister and complain about it. Officials say that we have full hope from our Chief Secretary that he will take some concrete steps against the exploitation happening with us.
