Complaints were heard and redressed in the first appeal under the Bihar Public Grievances Redressal Rights Act, 2015 by Commissioner Kumar Ravi today at Patna’s commissioner’s office. He took action against a public authority for being absent from the hearing. Kumar Ravi, while doing a show-cause with District Gavya Vikas Officer Kaimur Bhabhua, has ordered to stop his salary.
Actually Ramesh Kumar had made a complaint regarding Gavya Vikas Yojana. During today’s hearing, Public Authority District Cow Development Officer, Kaimur was absent. Due to negligence and dereliction of duty, Commissioner Kumar Ravi directed to withhold his salary while showing cause to him. Kumar Ravi said that timely and quality redressal of public grievances is essential. Public authorities will have to show sensitivity and promptness.
Let us inform that Kumar Ravi heard a total of 11 cases today and action was taken for redressal. He said that the successful implementation of the Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015 is the topmost priority of the government. Laxity, negligence or irregularity in matters of public interest will not be tolerated.
