CO arrested for taking bribe in Jehanabad: Surveillance department team caught red handed with 1 lakh cash

On Thursday morning in Jehanabad, the monitoring department team arrested Dinesh Kumar, the circle officer of Kako, with a cash of Rs 1 lakh. The monitoring department team said that a person named Rahul Kumar had applied for rejection of the filing on September 29. But in lieu of rejecting the filing, the circle officer demanded one lakh from that person.

Till the time the money was not paid by this person, the filing by the Circle Officer was not being rejected and he was being evaded. Due to this act of the Circle Officer, Rahul Kumar lodged a complaint with the monitoring department and the monitoring department team laid a trap. In this trap, Circle Officer Dinesh Kumar was arrested with Rs. The team of surveillance department has arrested from a rented house near Palwal Ji Mall located on Lower Road of the city. As soon as the news of the arrest of the CO spread in the city, there was a stir among the administrative officials.

Rahul Kumar told that I had 1 bigha of land in Hajipur, I had applied to get the same filed. But in lieu of rejecting the filing, I was asked by the Circle Officer for ₹ 100000, I was not able to pay the money. That’s why I complained about this to the monitoring department and the team of monitoring department has arrested the circle officer with Rs. The circle officer has been arrested and is being taken to Patna and further action will be taken.
