Along with this, the state government will also encourage those running private sports academies. Today, it is important not to lack money, but to have the right adjustment of money. Whatever we make, make it as per the standard, it should be of the world class standard. State’s first sports university is being built in Meerut where every facility will be world class.

60 crores work is being done for sports complex

The Chief Minister said that till now the state government had been cooperating in sports here, whereas 100 crores would be spent in Prayagraj for carrying forward the sports activities. Out of this, Rs 60 crore will be spent for this sports complex. 10 crore 16 lakh for government and government aided schools, 10 crore 86 lakh for Allahabad University, 7 crore 73 lakh for development of sports facilities in Chandrashekhar Azad Park, 4 crore 25 lakh for open gym and multi-activity and Rs. 2 crore 80 lakh has been sanctioned for children’s sports and entertainment at seven places and Rs. 2 crore for sailing. He said that if the name of Prayagraj’s talent appears in the merit list in competitive examinations, then there is a feeling of pride.
