    CM unveils restored statue of Pandit Nehru: The statue has been restored in the newly built Nehru Park near Punaichak on Nehru Path

    The statue has been restored in the newly built Nehru Park near Punaichak on Nehru Path.

    Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday unveiled the restored statue of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at the newly constructed Nehru Park near Punaichak on Nehru Path. During this, he directed to do intensive plantation in the park to develop green belt. In tree plantation, he asked to adopt Miyawaki method as needed. On this occasion, Secretary, Building Construction Department cum Commissioner of Patna Division Kumar Ravi presented the Hindi and English versions of the book Discovery of India written by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to the Chief Minister.

    On this occasion, the CM said that the statue of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was installed at Patna Junction. But, it was not looking good due to the construction of flyover. Because of this, the statue was relocated to Nehru Park. The area around Nehru Park will be well developed. Intensive plantation and water body will be developed. With this people will also be able to perform Chhath there.

    Opposed the remarks on the President
    On the issue of the Trinamool Congress minister’s remarks on the President, the CM said that any comment on the President becoming the President in the country is wrong. It is astonishing, how can anyone say such a thing. It is not proper to speak anything on the President.

    On this occasion Finance, Commercial Tax and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Building Construction Minister Ashok Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani, Secretary to Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Gopal Singh, District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Manavjit Singh Dhillon, Patna Municipal Corporation Commissioner Animesh Parashar were present.
