CM Nitish reached Nalanda
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Ghoda Katora of Giriyak on Saturday by helicopter where he took stock of the water reservoir. On the occasion, he also gave several instructions to the officials and he has given a new name to the Ghoda Katora reservoir. Now the water reservoir at Ghoda Katora will be known as Ganga Ji Rajgriha. After the inspection of the water reservoir, the Chief Minister has gone to Nawada to take stock of the water purifier section built in Motnaje.
While interacting with the media, the Chief Minister said that the water of Ganga ji would be delivered to the doorsteps of people in Nawada, Nalanda, Gaya and Bodh Gaya. He said that the way Ghoda Katora reservoir has been named as Ganga Ji Rajgriha. Similarly, the name Ganga Ji Gaya has been named for the reservoir in Gaya.
In the first phase, from ward no 1 to 13, Ganga water is reaching people’s homes as a trial. In the coming time it will be supplied in different parts of Rajgir. Tight security arrangements were made before the arrival of the Chief Minister, the police administration team of Nawada and Nalanda districts were ready on this occasion.
