CM Nitish Kumar may be the Chief Minister of Bihar, but he has kept constant contact with the opposition parties of BJP. According to reports, Nitish is trying to bring different parties on one platform.
In this episode, he will also meet West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Nitish has earlier met Rahul Gandhi and Delhi CM Kejriwal on his Delhi tour.
According to the report of the news agency ANI, Nitish will meet on April 25 at Nabanna, the secretariat of the West Bengal government in Kolkata. The meeting of both is possible at 2 pm.
Apart from this, Nitish Kumar will also meet Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav during his Uttar Pradesh tour. Nitish will meet the former CM of UP only on 24 April.
Significantly, Nitish, who came to meet Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, was accompanied by JDU national president Lalan Singh and alliance partner Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi. Tejashwi is on the post of Deputy CM in Bihar.
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge was also present during this famous meeting in Delhi. Calling for opposition unity, all the leaders had said that they would fight the elections together to oust the BJP from power.
