Indian Railways: Chhath Mahaparv has started from 28 October 2022. On this occasion, huge crowd of passengers is being seen in the railway stations. People want to reach their homes somehow and participate in Chhath Mahaparv in a traditional way. In such a situation, the Railways has made additional arrangements. Special trains are being run for the convenience of the passengers. Additional coaches are also being installed in many trains. Indian Railways is running a total of 2200 special trains during the festive season. These trains have been run with the concern of passengers reaching their homes so that they can celebrate the festival.
Indian Railways said in a tweet that 250 trains will be operated from 28 October to 4 November across the country during the festival season, in which about 3.5 lakh extra berths will be available. In this series, Northern Railway is running 84 festival special trains with 846 trips, out of which the passenger carrying capacity has been increased by adding 165 extra coaches in 56 trains. Apart from this, Railways has planned to make 4700 extra trips from 165 extra coaches. With this step of the Railways, 3.5 lakh additional berths/seats will be provided for the passengers.
Extended the period of operation of the train from Darbhanga-Patna to Delhi
Keeping in view the convenience of rail passengers, the operating period of 02 pairs of Puja special trains running from Darbhanga and Patna to Delhi has been increased. Meanwhile, East Central Railway officials say that the dates of running of one Pooja special train to be operated from Danapur to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Pune have been revised. Under this, after Chhath Mahaparv, it will be run from Danapur.
One pair new worship special train on this route
In this sequence, a pair of new Puja special train will also be run between Danapur to Anand Vihar Terminus. In view of the festive season like Chhath Mahaparv, the Indian Railways has decided to operate additional trips of these special trains keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.
