Chhath Mahaparv: Arrangement for safe Arghya of 5 lakh devotees in Bhagalpur, arrangements at 46 ghats and 4 ponds in the city

The first Arghya of Chhath, the great festival of public faith, will be given on Sunday evening. The city’s 46 ghats and four ponds are ready for Chhath Vratis. Apart from this, fasting will be offered at more than 300 ghats in the entire district. 221 magistrates, police officers and police force have been deployed at all the losses of the city.

For security, a platoon has been deputed by dividing a company of SSB into four parts. A rake has been imposed on private boats in the Ganges. Also, there is a ban on the sale of firecrackers and fireworks at a loss. Apart from the district control room, control rooms have also been set up at four main deficits.

The 14 main losses will be monitored with 43 CCTV cameras. Arrangements for parking of vehicles have been made at seven different places. The movement of heavy vehicles has been banned on the Vikramishila bridge so that there is no problem for the devotees from Navgachiya side.
