Suraj Shree Chemicals Limited Factory, located on the hospital road of the Forbesganj sub-divisional headquarters of Araria district, came as a surprise to the people due to the sudden spread of foul odor. . The team of Agriculture Department including SDO Surendra Kumar Albela, DSP Ram Pukar Singh, Additional SDO Ranjit Kumar, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Sudhanshu Kumar inspected and sealed the warehouse of the fertilizer factory.

A seven-member inquiry committee has been constituted by the SDO under the chairmanship of Additional SDO Ranjit Kumar to investigate whether the factory is running as per the standard including the foul smell spread from the organic fertilizer factory and how the chemical odor spread. Further action will be taken after submitting the report to the inquiry committee within three days. Tell that in the evening, suddenly a strange kind of foul smell spread in the city. Due to which there was curiosity about the gas spread among the people. Due to the chemical odor spread from the factory, people remained stammer and were forced to tie handkerchiefs along with masks on their mouths.

At the same time, on the information, till late night, the top officer of the sub-division administration, the team of the Agriculture Department, was engaged in the investigation taking stock of Suraj Shree Chemicals Fertilizer Factory. In view of the situation, fire brigade was called to extinguish the fire caused by chemicals inside the factory. Fire Officer Santosh Kumar Pandey informed that about forty five hundred liters of water was used to extinguish the fire in chemicals. He informed that the fire was brought under control after about four hours of effort. After which some samples of fertilizers were taken from the factory by the present officer for investigation by the team of Agriculture Department. Apart from Additional SDO in the investigation committee, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Sudhanshu Kumar, Circle Officer Sanjeev Kumar, BCO Manoj Kumar, EO Deepak Kumar Jha In addition to Labor Enforcement Officer, Block Agriculture Nodal Coordinator is involved.
