Changing Haryana: The resolve to change the system with everyone has come true, today the government is completing 8 years

In a parliamentary democratic system, the power changes after five years. Sometimes change happens in less time than that, but in such changes only the face changes, not the movement or character of power, even the system is not able to change. The dream of a system that would bring about a radical change in the life of the common man could not be realized despite the change of power. Today, when the government is completing eight years, as the first servant of Haryana, I am satisfied that the journey of resolve to change the system is going on in the right direction with everyone and on the strength of trust.

After assuming power in the year 2014, we have been able to bring effective change in the system by changing face, gait and character in Haryana. Due to the vote bank centric thinking and working style of the previous governments, Haryana could not develop according to its glorious background and the unique geographical location of the country’s capital Delhi being situated on three sides. In line with Prime Minister Modi’s slogan of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, my government in Haryana started work towards system change with the spirit of service and dedication with the thinking of Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek.

In the year 2014, the government started the journey of resolution to change the system, after eight years, its effect is clearly visible to a person without prejudice. Many schemes have been praised by the central government and other states are implementing them. The politics of Haryana has often been occupied by familyism, but I have treated everyone with equal eyes considering the whole of Haryana as my family.

Haryana has been ashamed of the allegations of familyism, regionalism and corruption for a long time, but on the strength of its resolve, my government has been successful in getting rid of them. The common Haryanvi knows very well where and how the lists from government recruitments to transfers were made in the previous governments. My biggest satisfaction is that my government has been successful in restoring the confidence and self-respect of common Haryanvi by ending that infamous system of ticket-spending.

The dreams of sectors and families for which government jobs remained a dream for decades were realized in a transparent manner. The government’s online transfer policy has yielded good results. To curb corruption in the functioning of government offices, time bound online services are yielding encouraging results. The all-round development and achievements of Haryana, which is one of the smallest states of the country in terms of area and population, have been possible only with the trust and faith of the common Haryanvi given to the efforts of the government. I assure that together with all of you, this journey of resolve to change the system will continue.

Prosperity in the lives of deprived sections and families through schemes

My government has also taken the initiative to transform the lives of the underprivileged sections of the society through schemes like Antyodaya, Parivar Pehchan Patra and Ayushman Bharat. There has been an unprecedented increase in the amount of the schemes. Work is going on on a war footing for the expansion of health facilities in Haryana during the Corona period and even after that. Haryana is the first state in the country to buy the maximum 14 crops at MSP.

Now 80 percent of the villages are also illuminated for 24 hours. In private sector jobs, 75 percent reservation has been made for local youth, Haryana’s success in sports is amazing. The medal winning players get the highest prize money in the country in Haryana, so there is also a provision of advance money for the preparation of international competitions.
