Keeping in view the upcoming festivals in Nalanda, the administration has taken a step. The objective is to celebrate important festivals like Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja in an atmosphere of peace and communal harmony. For this, the district administration shifted 18 accused to the police station.

The hearing was held in the court of District Magistrate Shashank Subhankar (I.P.S.). This decision has been taken in this. This action has been taken under Section 3 (CCA) of Bihar Crime Control Act-2024.
The persons arrested include residents of different areas. Among them, people from Deepnagar, Laheri, Bihar and Sohsarai police station areas are prominent. The administration has directed these persons to register their presence in different police stations.
Attendance will have to be registered at Sohsarai police station-Nalanda.
Kundan Kumar, son of Rameshwar Prasad, resident of Ayodhya Nagar of Deepnagar police station area, will have to register his presence at Sohsarai police station, Rizwan Qureshi, son of Alam Qureshi, resident of Konasarai of Laheri police station area, at Nalanda police station.

Dobhi Swarnkar alias Mahesh Swarnkar, son of Moti Swarnkar, will have to register his presence at Sohsarai police station and Mohammad Saddab, son of Mohammad Tahir, resident of Pakki Talab of Laheri police station area, will have to register his presence at Rajgir police station.
