Houses will be counted during the caste census. Each house will have a number. This number will become part of the permanent address of the houses in future. This will be used in any kind of correspondence. On the basis of this, village and mohalla document will also be prepared in future.
From this, the information will be clear that in which locality of which area, how many houses are there in which road or street and how much population is there. On this basis, detailed information about schools, colleges, hospitals, electricity, drinking water, roads, streets, etc., included in the basic government facilities in the areas, will also be collected. On this basis, plans for government facilities will also be made according to the population in future.
Is there any list of houses built in cities or villages with the state government?
{No numbering of houses has been done at the state government level yet. There is a different number in the voter ID card, a different number in the holding of the municipal corporation. There is no numbering of houses at the Panchayat level. In urban areas, there is numbering of houses in some localities, even then it has been given by the housing society and not by the government. Now the number given at the government level will be the permanent number of all the houses, which will be written with permanent pen marker or red color and it can be read from a distance of 2 meters.
If any house is left out in the numbering or if there is a vacant plot?
{If a house is left out in the numbering or a new house is built, then its number will be done by adding A, B, C, D etc. or one, two, three etc. to the adjacent number. Think of it as such. If the number of a house is 20 and there is a vacant space after it. The number of the next house is 21. If three new houses are constructed in future on the vacant space between house number 20 and 21, then their number will be 20A, 20B and 20C or 20/1, 20/2 or 20/3.
On what basis will the numbering of houses be done?
The numbering of houses will be on the basis of road and street. Think of it like this… The numbering of houses in Rajiv Nagar Road No. 1 will start from the entry of this road and will go till where the road ends. Then in return, numbering the houses on the other side of the road and ending at the entry point. Similar process will be followed in the streets as well.
How will this number be given in the apartment?
In the street of the locality where the apartment is located, the number of the apartment after the number of the house in that street will be its number. On the basis of that all the flats built in it will be given a number. For example, if the number of the apartment is 11, then all the flats there will be given numbers like 11/1, 11/2, 11/3.
Will the number given by the government in correspondence now be the identity of my house?
Yes, the number given to the house during the census will identify it.
If there is division, how will the number be allotted?
If there are three parts in the division of the house and the number of the house is 55, then after the partition the number of all three will be 55/1, 55/2 and 55/3.
When will the numbering of houses start
According to officials, after the municipal elections, the economic census will be done along with the caste census. This work will be done in two phases. Numbering of houses will be done in the first phase. In the second phase, there will be an economic census with the counting of people.
