Bus trampled one in Rohtas: Lost life on the spot, angry people jammed the chowk

In the Bikramganj sub-divisional headquarters of Rohtas district, a laborer died after being hit by a bus near the Tedhki bridge on the Ara-Sasaram State Highway late on Monday evening. It is being told about the incident that the bus going from Ara to Ranchi was going from Bikramganj towards Sasaram at a high speed.

During this, while crossing the middle road near Tedhki bridge, he was hit by the bus, due to which he died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Tauheed Khan, 50, a resident of Bikramganj. On hearing about the accident, a large number of people gathered. The road was blocked at Thana Chowk by the local people, the people gathered were demanding compensation. The SHO, who reached the spot, ended the jam by talking to the villagers.

Police seized the bus

At the same time, after the accident in Bikramganj, the bus driver had fled with the vehicle, but the bus which was running on information was confiscated by the Sanjhauli police station. SHO Shambhu Kumar said that the bus has been confiscated by the police. The Bikramganj police has taken the body in possession and sent it to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
