At the same time, the cousin of the young man was also mercilessly beaten up by the accused. Both are injured. The incident is of Khuntgaon Ward 08 of Koriyapatti Panchayat under Jadia police station area. After getting the information of the incident, the police have also started taking action. 25-year-old Mankhush Kumar, a resident of Khuntgaon Ward 08, told that his brother-in-law wanted to kill him because of love marriage. And also injured his cousin Ranjit Kumar.

Mankhush Kumar had a love marriage with the sister of the accused two and a half months back.

Had an affair for 4 years, married two and a half months ago

Mankhush Kumar, who was injured in the case, told that he had married Mary Kumari (26 years), daughter of Rajendra Mehta, resident of Koriyapatti village, on October 14, 2022 in the temple according to Hindu customs. The affair was going on between me and Mary for the last 4 years. Talked about marriage many times but Mary’s family members did not approve of this relationship.

Mankhush told that my family members had no objection to this marriage. After marriage, we both started living at our house. Everything was going well. Suddenly my brother-in-law Suvesh Kumar came late on Saturday night with around 20 colleagues and started abusing him. When I protested, they beat me mercilessly. Then shot in the chest. When my cousin came to intervene, he was also mercilessly beaten up and injured.

The accused also injured cousin Ranjit Kumar.

The accused ran away while firing in the air.

Mankhush’s father, Sadiva Mallah, says that not only were all the members in the house physically assaulted. Rather looted the jewelery kept in the house and ran away while firing in the air. After this, he first reached Triveniganj Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment with the injured son and nephew. After this the higher center was referred from there.
