Patna Police has taken major action against the sand mafia in Patna. Here the Digha police have arrested 18 sand mafia while smuggling sand. The police have also seized a sand laden boat. This information has been given by the police station in-charge of Digha.
Patna Police is continuously conducting raids till sand mafia and smugglers. In this episode, the Digha Police has got a big success. Rajkumar Pandey of Digha police station area told that on Sunday, information was received that some people are smuggling sand.
After this, a joint raid was conducted against illegal sand mining and transportation around Digha Ganga Ghat Gate No. 0-93 along with Police, Armed Forces and Mining Sap Force of Digha Police Station. During the raid, a total of 18 (eighteen) persons were arrested while loading sand on the boat. After which these people have been sent to judicial custody.
