The yatra will enter Maharashtra on November 9. Sources said, “Sharad Pawar and his MP daughter Supriya Sule have expressed their desire to welcome the yatra to Maharashtra. In such a situation, it is possible that they should welcome this yatra. These days the journey is in Karnataka. The yatra will conclude in Kashmir early next year. A total distance of 3570 kms will be covered in this journey.

The party has named those 119 leaders, including Rahul, “Bharat Yatris”, who will go on a padyatra to Kashmir. Congress believes that this yatra will serve as a lifeline for it. Before the start of the Yatra, Congress had called upon all like-minded political parties and organizations to be a part of the Yatra. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK leader MK Stalin was present in Kanyakumari at the start of the yatra.
