Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday congratulated party leader Rahul Gandhi on completion of 100 days of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Also said that Bharat Jodo Yatra has taken the form of a national mass movement. He said that Bharat Jodo Yatra has completed 100 days. Bharat Jodo Yatra is getting the support and trust of lakhs of people. In a video message on completion of 100 days, Kharge said that the Congress is getting support from youth, farmers, downtrodden sections of the society, women, ex-servicemen during the yatra. Along with this people are being talked to. On the other hand, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi reached Delhi from Rajasthan on Friday.
He said that the Yatra is uniting the country mainly on three issues. The first is against the hatred being spread in the society in view of increasing atrocities against scheduled castes, backward classes and minorities and raising voice against these atrocities. In the last eight years, the country is battling unemployment and back-breaking inflation. He said that the period of political dictatorship that has come in the country and the power-hungry BJP has weakened the constitutional institutions. Everyone is speaking against the BJP rule. Kharge said that Bharat Jodo Yatra is now a national mass movement. I have full faith that in the years to come, we all will be able to give a new momentum and direction to India.

The yatra will enter Delhi on 24 December. The yatra will enter Delhi on December 24 and move towards Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and finally Jammu and Kashmir after a break of about eight days. People from every section of the society participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Film and TV celebrities like Pooja Bhatt, Rhea Sen, Swara Bhaskar, Rashmi Desai, Akanksha Puri and Amol Palekar joined the yatra. Writers, army officers, including former Navy chief Admiral L Ramadoss, Shiv Sena’s Aaditya Thackeray and NCP’s Supriya Sule and opposition leaders like Raghuram Rajan, former RBI governor, also joined the yatri.
