Bareilly Honor Killing: Throwing daughter into the forest thinking she was dead, poured acid to hide her identity

In Bareilly, father and brother-in-law killed a young woman to save the honor of her family. The relatives of the deceased threw him in a forest in a dying state and poured acid on him to hide his identity.

A sensational case has come to light from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, in which on April 25, a girl was found lying in a dying condition in the forests adjacent to the highway. On information, the police immediately admitted the victim to the hospital for treatment, but she died during treatment. After which the top officials inspected the spot and got involved in the investigation. On the other hand, today the police has made a shocking disclosure of this murder case.

Let us tell you that on April 25, on dial 112, the police received information that a girl was lying in a dying condition in the forests adjacent to the road leading from the highway to Agras under Fatehganj western area. On information, the girl was admitted to the hospital for immediate treatment by the police but she died during treatment. Along with this, on the basis of the written information given by the victim’s father Totaram regarding the incident, investigation was started by registering a case against the unknown at Fatehganj West police station.

Father and brother-in-law turned out to be murderers
During the investigation, when the police started taking statements of the victim’s family members, the police became suspicious of them. After which, on the basis of contradiction of statements, the police started questioning the victim’s brother-in-law Dinesh in custody. On strictly questioning, Dinesh spewed out the truth. He told that the victim had a love affair with Ajay, a youth living in Dadha’s own village, and the victim was constantly talking to him even after marriage. Even after a lot of persuasion, she did not agree.

After which, in order to save their honour, the family members made a plan to kill the victim. Accused Dinesh told that he and the victim’s father Totaram along with their two other relatives tried to kill the victim. Also, to hide the identity of the victim, he put toilet cleaner on her. After this, thinking that he was dead, they left him in the forests adjacent to the road leading from the highway to Agras. By arresting the accused Totaram and Dinesh by the police, advance legal action is being taken as per the rules.
