    Banke Bihari: Big accident averted again in Banke Bihari temple, four devotees trapped in the crowd, injured

    A major accident was averted once again at Thakur Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan on Sunday when four devotees were injured after being trapped in the crowd. He was somehow rescued from there. During this, the health of some also deteriorated. All these were treated by the doctors present there. During this all the administrative arrangements were put on hold. At the time of Mangala Aarti on Janmashtami in Thakur Banke Bihari temple, two devotees died due to suffocation due to pressure from the crowd, while seven injured devotees were injured. After this, all efforts are being made to control the crowd in the temple.

    Due to administrative apathy, the situation in Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Temple is continuously deteriorating. Especially on weekends or festivals. Even before the opening of darshan at 8:45 am on Sunday morning, crowds of devotees reached inside and outside the temple with the desire to have darshan of their darshan. Seeing the pressure of the crowd, the security guards and police personnel of the temple swelled up.

    The situation worsened several times due to the crowd in the temple. Caught under the pressure of the crowd, Kanpur residents Shobha Dixit (75), Subhash Chandra (70), Renu Sharma, Devanshi (57) and Punta Sharma (33) were injured.

    SP City MP Singh said that a large number of devotees come on weekends, due to which arrangements were made to stop the devotees for darshan. This increased the pressure of the crowd a little.

All the private parking around the Banke Bihari temple was completely filled. Devotees parked their vehicles on the roadside and went out to have darshan at the temple. In such a situation, due to the arbitrariness of the vehicles parked on the roadside and e-rickshaw, auto drivers, there was a situation of jam throughout the day.

    Vrindavan has come to a standstill in the throes of jam. There was jam inside the city along with all the major entry roads of Vrindavan. There was also a jam in the streets. There was pressure of vehicles from morning till evening on Chhatikara, Atla Chungi, Ramnareti, Prem Mandir, ISKCON, Parikrama Marg of Vrindavan.
