    Australia vs Afghanistan Series | Australia stands against Taliban, refuses to play cricket with Afghanistan

    New Delhi: At the end of March 2023, a three-match ODI series was to be played between Australia and Afghanistan (Australia vs Afghanistan ODI Series) in UAE. But, now the Australian Cricket Board (Cricket Australia) has refused to play this series. The Australia Cricket Board has taken this big step opposing some decisions of the Taliban.

Not only this, the entry of girls in sports has also been banned. Opposing this decision of the Taliban, the Australian Cricket Board has decided not to play the cricket series.

    In a statement issued by the Australian Board, CA is committed to the inclusion and development of women and men in the sport around the world, including Afghanistan. Also in constant touch with the Afghanistan Cricket Board to improve the status of women and girls in their country.

    CA has also thanked its Australian government for the support. He said, ‘Thank you for supporting our decision (to cancel the series from Afghanistan).’
