Prayagraj: Investigating agencies have reached very close to Guddu Muslim, the absconding accused in the Umesh Pal murder case and Atiq Ahmed’s special henchman. Investigating agencies have received concrete information that Guddu Muslim is hiding at some place in or around Murshidabad, West Bengal. On the basis of this information, the team of investigative agencies is conducting raids at many places in West Bengal for the last 3 days. According to sources, the investigating agencies have reached very close to Guddu Muslim and he can be arrested anytime.
Guddu Muslim has a prize of Rs 5 lakh
Guddu Muslim is absconding after the murder of Umesh Pal. The police has declared a reward of Rs 5 lakh on him. During the absconding, Ashraf had taken shelter for a long time in Murshidabad, West Bengal. The matter of taking refuge with someone close to Atiq is coming to the fore. According to the sources, Guddu Muslim himself is now in the mood to surrender, that is why he has grown his beard so that no one can recognize him and he surrenders in some other case.

Guddu Muslim has so far managed to dodge the police. After the murder of Umesh Pal, he also went to Meerut where he managed to dodge the STF. Similarly in Jhansi too, he has been left out of the hands of STF. Recently his location was traced to Puri in Odisha. But after the encounter between Asad and Ghulam, Guddu Muslim disappeared.
