Assault: Woman assaulted for opposing molestation

The case of molesting a woman in a village has come to light. When the woman protested, she was thrashed and injured by the accused. In this case, the victim woman has filed an application in the police station against five people of the village. Police is investigating the matter by registering an FIR in the matter. The woman has told in the application that she was sleeping in her house when at around 11 o’clock in the night, Mithilesh Rai of the village entered the house and started molesting her. On protesting, the accused started strangulating with the intention of killing. Hearing the sound, when the children reached, he ran away. After some time, Mithilesh Rai, Vikas, Gunja Devi etc. had a fight.
