Arrest: 28 liters of liquor recovered from scooty, smuggler arrested

Kateya police arrested a liquor smuggler with 28.12 liters of country and foreign liquor on Wednesday during a vehicle check near Manjharia turn. It is said that police sub-inspector Riyaz Hussain was visiting the police station in order to tour the area with the police force. They were checking vehicles and people coming from UP side near Manjharia turn of the area. During the same time a person was surrounded with 145 pieces total quantity of 28.12 liters of country / foreign liquor from a scooty. Police seized the recovered liquor and scooty and arrested the liquor smuggler. The arrested person is said to be Rajkumar Rai, resident of Khantari Mahanand of Baruraj police station area under Muzaffarpur district.
