Army officers expressed grief
An Indian Army officer said, “Army dog zoom was an invaluable part of our team. Despite his young age of 2 years, Zoom was a veteran of several CT operations where he proved himself with his energy and courage. Zoom played an important role during the operation that took place in Anantnag on 9 October. However, during this he got 2 bullets. Despite being injured, Zoom locates the other hiding terrorists.
After being injured, Zoom was immediately taken to the Army’s Animal Hospital, Srinagar where he fought till the last. However, he breathed his last at 11:50 this morning. Like Zoom we have lost a brave team member who will always inspire us to do our job with dedication and courage.
