ABVP’s Priyanka Srivastava won the general secretary’s post with a record number of votes. The joint secretary post was won by Amir Raja of the alliance of Chhatra Jaap and AISF. The second position was bagged by student JDU’s Hansika Dayal. Komal Kumari of AISA, who was on the edge since the beginning of the treasurer’s post, was victorious. For the first time in the last three elections, two women candidates have made it to the Central Panel.

    Independent candidate Divyanshu Bhardwaj became the President of PU Students Union. While Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad candidate Yushita Patwardhan became the vice-president. Sudhanshu Bhushan Jha Vice President, Mohd. Ashjad was declared joint secretary and Nitish Kumar as treasurer.
