On Wednesday, on Govardhan Puja, the city of Sangam was transformed into Vrindavan. Hundreds of devotees thronged the ISKCON temple, dancing and dancing. Somewhere the aarti was performed and somewhere fifty-six bhog was offered and Giriraj was bowed down. On Wednesday, Savidhi Govardhan Puja was performed from homes to temples. The women of Munshi Ramprasad, located in Mutthganj, worshiped the Govardhan mountain by making an alpana from cow dung. During this 56 bhog was offered in the form of Annakoot Mahotsav. Roli, akshat, sandalwood, paan, sweets were offered to Giriraj Bhagwan.
The tableau of Annakoot festival was made in this 122 year old Radha Krishna temple. During this, Radha Krishna was decorated with colorful flowers. The temple was decorated with frills. Chappan Bhog was offered after the Aarti in the evening. There was a crowd of devotees from morning till late night for the tableau darshan.
The joy was expressed by fireworks. Keshav Prasad Maurya performed the aarti as the chief guest. Apart from these, MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai, MLC KP Srivastava, MLA Guru Prasad Maurya, former MLA Deepak Patel, MLC Nirmala Paswan, former chairman of KP Trust TP Singh also performed Giriraj Pujan. The priest of the temple Shiv Babu Dwivedi performed the worship with Vedic chants. Welcomed by Kumar Narayan and Rajendra Narayan.
On this occasion, BJP Metropolitan President Ganesh Kesharwani, Vice President of Kashi region Awadhesh Chandra Gupta, Rajesh Kesharwani, Sumit Srivastava, Shailendra Madhur were present. Similarly, there was a crowd of devotees on Govardhan Puja in ISKCON temple. The women danced on the lyrics of the hymns. Apart from the Punjabi Colony at Alopibagh, Govardhan Puja was also performed by Jagannath Mahotsav Samiti.

Maha Aarti was organized on behalf of Janhit Triveni Aarti Committee at Boat Club located in Kydganj on Wednesday, in which Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya attended as the chief guest. The Deputy Chief Minister said that for the welfare of the world, Maa Ganga has performed the Yamuna aarti. Under the leadership of Modi and Yogi in the BJP government, the sting of Indian Sanatan culture is ringing in the country and abroad. The divine and grand Kumbh held in Prayagraj under the BJP government has enhanced the pride of the country’s Sanatan culture. The Deputy Chief Minister was welcomed by BJP Metropolitan President Ganesh Kesarwani and Committee President Hemant Chintu. Many people including Padum Jaiswal, Rajesh Kesarwani, Ankush Sharma, Shubham Vaidya, Shantanu Sharma, TN Dixit, Abha Bharti, Meenu Pandey, Pramod Modi, Himalaya Sonkar, Kuldeep Goswami, Ram Singh were present during the Maha Aarti.
