    ANM in Supaul accused of negligence: Newborn girl died in Supaul Sadar Hospital, family members allege

    A newborn girl died during treatment in the special neonatal unit of Supaul Sadar Hospital. The relatives of the deceased newborn accused the health workers of SNCU of negligence and said that the girl died due to delay in oxygen. . However, the doctor posted on the spot has denied the talk of negligence. Actually the deceased newborn baby girl mother Meena Devi husband Manoj Saada is a resident of Sada Ghar Sukhanagar village.

    Meena Devi, the mother of the deceased newborn girl, was admitted to Raghopur Referral Hospital on Saturday due to labor pain. Where during delivery she gave birth to a newborn baby girl on Saturday around 04 pm. At the same time, after the birth of the newborn girl, she was neither crying nor drinking mother’s milk. In such a situation, seeing that his condition did not improve after first aid by the doctor of Raghopur Referral Hospital, he was referred from there to SNCU of Supaul Sadar Hospital.

    Relatives of the deceased newborn girl told that from Raghopur Referral Hospital, by putting oxygen in a government ambulance, the newborn girl reached Supaul Sadar Hospital. Where after getting the slip cut in Supaul Sadar Hospital, he was admitted to the special newborn baby unit. But the ANM A grade nurse posted in SNCU did not give oxygen to the newborn girl on time. Due to which the newborn girl died in SNCU. The relatives of the deceased newborn girl accused the SNCU personnel of negligence due to not giving oxygen on time and told that the girl died. Here, regarding the death of a newborn girl, Dr Harishkar, a doctor posted in SNCU, has categorically denied the talk of negligence, saying that the girl had already died.
