Andhra Pradesh: A blast took place in the premises of a police station in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. The police informed about this. The blast took place when some explosive material stored in Gangadhara Nellore police station premises exploded in the early hours of the day. A policeman has suffered minor injuries.

The explosive material was seized in 2018 when it was being illegally transported by mine operators in the area. The same was buried in the rear part of the police station building.
