All the housing assistants of Supaul went on indefinite strike: The head husband of the assistant who went to distribute the notice was beaten up, the workers protested today

On Friday, in Mehsimar Panchayat of Kishanpur police station area of ​​Supaul district, the head husband along with the housing assistant Sanjay Kumar, who went to distribute white notices to the beneficiaries of Indira Awas, brutally beat up the supporters. Regarding which the victim’s housing assistant has given an application to the police station and demanded action. Regarding this, on the second day on Saturday, a meeting of the District Rural Housing Workers Association was held in the old police line located at the district headquarters. Where the housing assistants protested and demanded the arrest of the accused head husband and his supporters. At the same time, on the call of the union, the housing assistants across the district went on an indefinite strike.

Union District President Rajkishore Kumar said that on the instructions of their officers, white and red notices are given to the houses of defaulter beneficiaries to complete PM Awas and Indira Awas. During this work, on Friday, he was doing his work in the order of field visit. He was doing the work of motivating by meeting the beneficiaries of Indira Awas. During which Mukhiya husband Sanjay Kumar and his supporters brutally beat him up near Ward 03. From where dragged the housing assistant to his door and took him hostage.

When BDO Raj Kumar Chaudhary got the information about this, he sent the supervisor. Then the supervisor went and freed them and brought them with them. The wounds caused by the beating with the belt by the chief’s husband and supporters were treated in the PHC. Until such dictator chief husband is not arrested, all the members of the union will be on strike. He said that a total of 175 workers including housing assistant, supervisor, accounting assistant and executive assistant are members of the union in the district. All will be on indefinite strike from Saturday.

In this regard, SHO Suman Kumar said that in this case, 06 people have been nominated and an application has been given for assault against others. Taking action, three named Santosh Yadav, Kashi Kumar, Ranjit Kumar were arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Regarding this, DDC of the district Mukesh Kumar said that it was yesterday’s incident. As soon as I got information about the incident, the concerned BDO has been instructed and FIR has been registered. Probably an arrest has also been made in this case. There is no information about the strike. We will see from our level once the matter comes to notice.
