RIYADH — The Council of Saudi Chambers Chairperson Ajlan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan praised the distinguished Saudi-Chinese relations and the continuous development they are witnessing at all levels.
He expressed the Saudi business sector’s welcome to the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Saudi Arabia and his aspiration for its results and its positive impact on economic relations and investors in the two countries.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Ajlan said that the two countries have strong economic and historical relations, as China is considered the first trade partner for the Kingdom.
He hailed the distinguished role played by the Chinese companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the giant projects implemented by them in various sectors.
Al-Ajlan added that the future of economic cooperation between the Kingdom and China is promising and full of opportunities, in light of the prospects for harmonizing the Saudi-Chinese development strategies, and the “Economic Belt and Silk Road” initiative that is consistent with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. — SPA
